1/26/2024 0 Comments White pages .comI let the membership lapse a couple years ago because of all the above. Of course I discovered this after I paid $30 for one year subscription. One is that there are other ways of finding out details that don't require you to spend a cent. There are other reasons why it's not such a great idea. People who died years ago are still listed as though they are alive and related to the person, even though they really are not alive and were never related anyway. "Relatives" will include anybody who might have lived there at some point in the past, or who they think might possibly have been related to them because they lived at another address that the person might have lived at before. If the phone number is correct, there are several phone numbers that are represented as current even though they are not. If the address info is correct, it's hidden inside several details of addressess that are represented as current even though the person left long years ago. (c) still has the same landline phone number and it was never unlisted. (b) has not changed their name or gained new relatives in that time, and (a) is still living where they were living 30+ years ago It's only useful if you're researching somebody who I also want White Pages to remove my information for forever. I want White Pages to stop aiding and abetting scammers by providing them with easy access to highly sensitive personal information on individuals. I also use a temporary address and email. I have gotten hip to this and I download temporary one time use numbers to communicate with white pages by. White Pages also demands a cellular number which they make the person affirm 'belongs to them' to submit the removal request even though on their site they SELL the cellular number of the individual. The fact that White Pages continue to Repost information they know is inaccurate, after removing it, violates the Deceptive Trade Practices act of my State because White Pages continues to act in bad faith and act deceptively. Every time I have contacted White Pages they have removed the information but they soon after repost it again. I also have law enforcement in my family who are close relations and white pages continues to list their information alongside mine as well. I had to submit a Fraud Affidavit to the IRS. Someone used an old address found on an online broker such as White Pages to file my taxes. Although much of the information White Pages has is old, outdated and no longer accurate, some of their information is accurate and it places me and my family members in jeopardy. They are offering my cellular number, address, employment, and information on my family members to sale to the public. Over the past decade I have contacted White Pages multiple times to remove my personal information off their website.
